Notary Public

Recommended Posts

Look for a lawyer or law office.

Apparently there are no "Notary Public(s)" in Thailand but in the Pattaya area some lawyers notarize documents. Nice official stamp etc. If it's for outside the country you might want to check that it is OK. I've had US real estate/banking contracts notarized by a Thai lawyer and they were OK with it at my bank in the US.

I will confirm and add to Smokin Joe's advice.

I've had several court documents, notarized in Thailand, accepted in the home country with no problems.

Some - not all - law offices will notarize documents.

Look for a law office aimed at expats with services for real estate, business setup, etc.

Even then, not all such law offices have notaries.

Your embassy/consulate may also provide notary services.

Cost has consistently been 2,000 per signature in BKK.

Two signatures on two different documents: 4,000 baht.
