You need to meet financials of 400k in your name local bank account for 2 months (passbook/copies and bank letter) or 40k per month income (tax records or Embassy letter if from outside Thailand). You visit immigration office serving your province with wife during last 30 days of a non immigrant O visa entry. Specific paperwork can vary a bit but in general you provide passport/copies of data page, visa, entry and departure card and marriage certificate plus marriage registration ledger copy (most now require both). Wife attends with her ID card and home register/copies and you provide photos inside house and outside of you as couple. House number should be visible and clothing hung together. You fill out TM.7 form asking for one year extension for Thai Wife as reason and attach 4x6cm photo taken within last six months (may be more than one copy required if done upcountry). You pay fee of 1,900 baht and sign several forms and get stamp to return in 30 days for decision and then get the stamp for year stay. You then must make 90 day address reports (from date of TM.7 application) if you remain in Thailand and obtain re-entry permit to keep stay alive if you travel. During 30 day period Immigration or other police may visit home to verify you live together.

Assuming you are asking about a Twelve Month Extension:

(6) In case of marriage with a Thai lady, the husband who is an alien must have an average annual income of not less than 40,000 baht per month or a money deposit in a local Thai bank of not less than 400,000 baht for the past 2 months for expenses within a year.

Letter from your Thai Bank showing balance and up to date bank book.

OR.

Letter from your Embassy showing income. Now may also need proof of income as back up.

Marriage Certificate

Marriage Registry entry.

Wife's Tabbien Baan and ID Card.

Your Passport.

Copies of everything.

Photos of you and your Wife in and around the house.

A map showing the way to your house.

Passport size photos and 1,900 Baht fee.

Take your Wife to be interviewed.

You will be given a 30 day under consideration stamp.

Go back in a month and get the remainder.

Does the Non O visa have to be converted to marriage extension before the expiry date of the visa or the latest departure stamp which can be upto 90 days after the visa expires.
