Olesya Posted September 2, 2011 Posted September 2, 2011 (edited) Anybody can help me to find shorthair kitten for adoption? Not very expensive. I tried to look through Internet, but couldn't find anything. I need the kitten urgently, cause I want to make surprise for my daughter for her birthday on sept. 10. She loves cats a lot. And I can assure u that we'll take very good care of little kitten. Edited September 2, 2011 by Olesya
craigt3365 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Let's try this in the pet forum. Also, you need to tell us where you live!
Sophon Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Let's try this in the pet forum. Also, you need to tell us where you live! Presumably Bangkok since the OP posted a similar add in the classifieds under Ratchatewi, Bangkok. You could try contacting SCAD, that way you could get a kitten free and at the same time give a home to a animal who might otherwise not find one. Sophon
bonobo Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Chokdee is my buddy, a great cat. I got him for free at the Klong Toey market one night when he came up to me begging for food. He was a tiny little thing, smaller than the rats which scurry about there at night. Well, I should say I got him for free, but he didn't stay for free. I had a number of vet bills which I had to pay as his health, as you can imagine, was not good. But he is an important part of my life now, and I don't regret picking him up. If you go to any market, you will see abandoned kittens, and the people working at the market are all too happy to see the kittens go to a good home.
ktamp Posted September 4, 2011 Posted September 4, 2011 (edited) I got my siamese at the threpesit market in pattaya. The guy there sells all sorts of animals and is reputable. Other than seeing that the persians had ear mites, all the animals were in good condition. He usually has kittens of no specific breed that he will give away for free. Or check local vets. They have often have kittens available for adoption. You may have to pay the cost of the shots but that is very cheap in thailand and you can be assured they are in good health.
