THAILAND AND CHINA WILL SIGN JOINT OPERATIONAL PLAN FOR BILATERAL COOPERATION

Thailand and China will sign joint operational plan for bilateral cooperation to promote development of the two countries in all areas.

Assistant to Foreign Affairs Minister Wirachai Wiramethikul (วีระชัย วีระเมธีกุล) revealed after discussing with Liu Yunshan, member of the Political Bureau, member of the Secretariat, and head of the Propaganda Department under the CCP Central Committee, that the two sides exchanged ideas on many issues. Mr. Wirachai said that the two countries agreed to continue working on the operational plan for the Thai-Chinese cooperation, which is expected to be signed by next year. He said that the plan is aimed at promoting strategic relationships in all aspects, which is different from the Thai-Chinese Free Trade Area Agreement.

Mr. Liu also called on Prime Minister Thaksin Shinnawat (ทักษิณ ชินวัตร) to boost relations between the two countries and promote cooperation on public relations affairs. Mr. Liu's visit also led to cooperation between Radio Thailand and China Radio, Channel 11 and CC TV, the Public Relations Department and China's state radio bureau.

Chinese premier Wen Jia Bao will visit Thailand in December to further discuss with Prime Minister Thaksin on this issue before a memorandum of understanding is signed later this year.

Can't imagine India, Korea and Japan, just to name 3 countries, jumping to choose the Chinese side. But they're stuck between a rock and a hard place if Uncle Sam and Uncle Mao are the only options available........

And what about Europe, which way will they go?

The US$ is falling against the Euro. Poverty is also on the rise in the USA not vice versa as it should be in a prospering superpower. The only thing holding the US together is the military.
