I have posted several times on TV about the mess on Jomtien beach...but this leaves me speechless.

If this gets out to the global internet world TAT can forget about 30 million tourists coming next year....

the whole worlds wrecked .....in my line of work we talk about B.E.R. Beyond Economic Repair...i.e. throw it in the bin.

I think we, thats we as in planet Earth as a whole is now getting past the point where we can fix any of this.

The only issue here is that the beach is one of the Thai Navy's playgrounds. The same type of rubbish is floating on beaches all up and down the coast as flotsam and jetsam on the tides.

If the Navy gets upset about it spoiling their resort they might do something about where it come from, otherwise more of the same for them as every other beach front development.

Wow! That's horrible! Maybe they need to do like Rwanda...ban plastic bags. They hand them out for EVERYTHING you buy...even a pack of gum. All that trash just washes down the storm drains and into the sea.
