Frenchman ordered to pay wife damages for lack of sex

A Frenchman has been ordered to pay his ex-wife £8,500 in damages for failing to have enough sex with her during their marriage.

The 51-year-old man was fined under article 215 of France’s civil code, which states married couples must agree to a “shared communal life”.

A judge has now ruled that this law implies that “sexual relations must form part of a marriage”.

The rare legal decision came after the wife filed for divorce two years ago, blaming the break-up on her husband’s lack of activity in the bedroom.

how did she work that figure out?

Mmmmmm.......Quick research:

Average sex per week = 2 or 3 times.

So going rate would be around 75 euros per jump. (3,150 Baht)

But, if (like me) you are at it once a day, it would work out a bit cheaper = 0.76 cents (30 Baht)

What a stupid judge. Can we expect lawsuits for a slew of 'non-providence of services'?

In that judge's jurisdiction, here are some things a divorced man can demand damages for - from his ex-wife.......

>>> not washing dishes often enough

>>> not mopping floors often enough

>>> not preparing the bed

>>> not cleaning windows

>>> not washing the car

>>> not showering well enough, thereby smelling up the house.

>>> not providing neck and foot massages at least 5 times per week.

That judge is an imbecile. He should be locked up in a small room with that woman for a month - as retribution.

But im sure any self respecting Frenchman would surrender to the wife before taking on such drastic action

My wife must owe me about a million baht by now.

On the other hand she feeds me well so it is about even.
