Navy Officer killed in roundabout crash in Sattahip

SATTAHIP: -- A Naval Officer was killed in a single-vehicle road accident at a roundabout close to the Sattahip Navy Base in the early hours of Friday. Police and rescue services were called to the location and assisted Sub Lieutenant Suriyan aged 26 who had suffered broken legs and suspect internal injuries. After 30 minutes he was eventually extracated from his badly damaged car and then rushed to the Queen Sirigit Hospital. A friend, who was following in a car behind the victim suggested the victim was driving at a high rate of speed and could not slow down quickly enough as he approached the roundabout
