Hi there,

I'm trying to figure out, unluckily, why there is a huge gap between an expat health insurance (BUPA, DKV, etc) and a home land insurance (via local private companies in the country I live in - Israel).

Now, home land companies offer a good insurance for 40$ / month while international companies offer it for 180-250$ for one adult ~33 yrs old, healthy.

Now, reading both their policy, while there are some differences, it doesn't explain the huge gap between them.

Any info on this would be appreciated.

Sincerely,

Guy.

perhaps isreal would be the place to ask these questions.

On a side note Is it true you can bargain for insurance in Israel?
