Anyone Know If A Memguard Breaker Box

Featured Replies

Have checked on internet, but no real information available. Unless it's part of the double mains switch, it does not include one. No labels anyway.

Have just moved to Lamphun, and here we go again! Newer house, but a kitchen extension has had an extra 7 sockets added to an existing plug box, using 1.5mm wire, and the grey wire is hot. Deja vu! Plus all the outlets are cheap crap, and full of debris. And the owner PAID someone for that travesty.

Thanks if anyone can help.

The dead give-away indicating an RCD or RCBO is the presence of a 'Test' button, if it has one then it's an RCD or RCBO.

Telling the difference is more difficult without actually seeing the beastie.

Thanks Crossy.

No test button, so not safe!

Have a problem here though, as not able to just go and add one like I did in the MIL house.

Decisions decisions????

Hoping to get a water heater added, so at least should be able to get the wiring fixed so the black is hot.

Was in Home Mart in Lamphun today, and Memguard do put out a consumer unit with an RCD included, 3,500 baht not including circuit breakers.
