Just read this article which suggests that true will offer 100 megs in Pattaya by September. Well we are in September, so anyone have any more info?

According to info I had from True office in Lotus Pattaya North, you will need a special cable (coax) and a new (expensive) modem plus the usual start-up fees.

Am currently on their 14 megs which I'm quite happy with, so no need to change for me.

True are running the fat coax cables for this around 2nd Rd/Soi Buakow at the moment.

Had this installed today, seems to work very well although I'm sure they Cache the speedtest sites to make it appear better.

As existing 16 meg ADSL customer, they just turned up and installed it with nothing to pay.

This was supposedly to Singapore.

YouTube 1080 HD videos are coming through very well also.
