Pay At Post

Featured Replies

Trying to locate which post office out of many in Cmai offer the "pay at post" service to pay for USA consulate interview for visa application. I have list of 13 post offices in Cmai but apparently not all offer the pay at post service. Thanks in advance.

Huh?

When I paid some years ago, it was the office right on the river. Maybe it is called the Mae Ping branch.

I thought the instructions included where to pay.

From Q & A on US Consulate Chiang Mai site:

Q: Can I pay the visa fee at any post office? You can pay the application fee at any post office in Thailand that has a full-service "Pay at Post" facility.

From Thailand Post web site:

Pay@Post Service description An agency service provided by Thailand Post for customers to pay quickly, easily and securely more than 200 different bills online such as public utilities, rental businesses, credit cards, etc.

  • The Post office on the River near the Day Market and the American Consulate has Pay at Post.

Good luck with your interview.

I used the Sam Yaek Suan Prung Post Office just down the road from Airport Plaza and Niyom Panich heading towards the moat. Purchase of a return envelope for passports though has to be done from the Mae Ping post office next to the Nawarat bridge which has been mentioned by others.
