30 Day Entry By Air, Need A Return Flight?

Going to fly from Vientiane to Bangkok, do I need a flight out of Thailand?

I did not give enough info, sorry, My question is do I need a flight out of Thailand and if I do does it have to be within those 30 days and can the flight be anywhere out of Thailand? Thanks, from the US and I should know this by now but I don't.

,Its something the Airline you travel with may impose and they can refuse to board you as you do not have a Visa issued by a consulate.

The arrangement for onward travel has to be within the permission to stay, so it has to be before your 30 day ends. It can be anywhere as long as you are leaving the kingdom.

The reason being that if you were to exceed your permission, not have a valid visa and therefore illegal, the airline that carried you can be fined and held responsible.

Sorry, my keyboard is quicker then my fingers,

never heard of anyone having problems flying into Thailand without a visa from Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia but the regulations are that one flying into Thailand without a visa needs to have an onward flight out of Thailand, even worster when flying from Europe or the US, no visa they might not let you onto the plane, as well only one way ticket but visa there might be a problem taking that flight. but would be interesting to here more people about this flying into LOS without a visa from neighboring countries because to my understanding there was never a problem
