Over 1 Million Baht’s worth of drugs seized at Sriracha Police checkpoint

SRIRACHA: -- Over 1 Million Baht’s with of class 1 drugs have been seized from a suspected drug dealer, caught at a Police Checkpoint in Sriracha District. In the early hours of Tuesday, Police and Volunteers had set-up a checkpoint close to the Nong Ka Temple when officers spotted a Black Yamaha Mio which appeared to be driving towards them at speed as if the driver intended to go through the checkpoint. As expected the driver attempted to speed past officers who managed to prevent this from happening. In the front basket of the bike was a plastic container full of drugs. At Sriracha Police Station it was determined that Khun Anon aged 35 was carrying 4,065 Yabba Tablets and 101g of Crystal Methamphetamine with a combined street value of over 1 Million Baht. He confessed to having just collected the drugs from a secret location under a bridge.
