It says , original copy's preferred. Why take a chance if you have the originals with you.

cheers thongkorn

the reason i ask is im in the uk and wont be travelling to thailand berfore we apply this time,so im thinking scan and send them or

send originals by post mate

cheers

iam sending my girlfriends visa too her on fri ive put orignal bank statements but my savings is a book so ive scanned that will that be a problem ?

Whilst they ask for original documents, I have always submitted online bank statements and emails and letters sent as attachments and they have never been queried.

ECO's do live in the real world and they can, and do, check the authenticity of everything that is submitted, they are aware, as are you, that if they receive a document that is found to false, it can lead to a ban.

As Thongkorn says, if you are able to provide the originals then it's of course best, but if it's only possible to provide copies then explain why.
