Kickstand
I have been been married to a Thai for 20 years. We were married in the US and never registered the marriage in Thailand.Currently have a visa and work permit but they are going away at the end of the year. I would like to convert to a marriage visa. Any helpful advice would be appreciated. Edited September 28, 2011 by Kickstand
lopburi3
Are you asking about a visa from a Consulate for 90 day stays or a one year extension of stay from Immigration? If asking about immigration you will have to register your marriage paperwork here with a District Office. Get it translated into Thai and have US Embassy stamp then have MFA register that as a legal document and then take to District Office to record in there ledger. That Ledger entry proof will be required for an extension of stay for Thai wife based on 400k in bank account two month or income of 40k per month.
