P.A. Sound System For Party

Featured Replies

Guys, looking to hire a reasonable quality sound system for a private party in Pattaya on the 8th Oct. Don't need extreme volume like a nightclub, just clarity and good reproduction across the entire freq spectrum for dance music. Defintely don't want anything that can't reproduce deep bass! Thx for any responses.

Bump.. just an average one would do if I can't get anything better! Any help greatly appreciated!

I can't think of anywhere in Pattaya that hire what you need, however at the electrical store under Tuk Com in South Pattaya you can buy what you need, albeit more cost than renting.

Thanks seefah, but don't want to buy!

There is a shop on the left almost at the bottom of Thepprasit Ra. The last small Soi corner before the traffic lights.

They seem to be an equipment hire shop. You will see all the amps etc and it's hard to miss.

Try Suriya Music. Sukhumvit Road - opposite Thepprasit.

Have a local guy in the village (Nong Prue). From Pattaya turn left onto Sukhumvit (past BPH on your LHS) and follow road towards Sri Racha. First intersection (have traffic lights and SCB on left) turn right (Pattaya Water Works road) called Soi Chaiyapornwithi. Over railway lines and follow road up over new motorway bridge. Upon entering Nong Prue (market on right) follow road 50 metres and turn right just after 7 11 onto Soi Farm Jorake (watch out for escaped crocodliles!!). Follow road (very bad after the recent rain) go under the new motorway (heading for Million Years Stone Park and Crocodile Farm) as you come under the motorway you will see a row of shop houses on the left. Last one is a bar called Nong's bar and the rental place is in the shop next door. Very nice gut but you will need to speak Thai or take a Thai speaker. Hope this helps!!

Thx guys, lots of helpful comments. Got the Mrs onto it last night, she searched Google in Thai and found there's loads of places in Pattaya that'll do it. Just need to get a good price now!
