how long 100k must stay in bank? if i open k bank account and put money, and one week later can i make? i have ed visa and will finish on 10 october, i married with thaiwife 14months before and now i have a baby ( one week ), what i can make can someone advise? i can not make ed visa again,they asked me to wait 6weeks ( in walen ) thanks for helpor tourist visa is better for me now ?

There is no requirment for the money to be in account for any period of time - take marriage certificate/copy of wife ID card and home register and birth certificate along with passbook. Multi entry O visa is much better than a tourist visa for you.

thanks for reply, at bank they told me must stay 6months and i read on thai government website at least 2 months, today i opened account at kasikorn bank, they not ask anything, only passport and put 500baht to account, i think other banks ask work permit for open account ( i opened in bangkapi the mall )

Perhaps bank was talking about a fixed deposit account and the shortest they had was six months. A normal passbook savings account can be opened anytime. No work permit is normally required but many banks will use that as an excuse not to speak English. If they want your business they will open without. As for Thai government saying two months that would be for a one year extension of stay for Thai wife - not for a visa.
