Suspected Marijuana Dealer caught in South Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A suspected Marijuana seller was caught in South Pattaya late on Friday Night. Officers from the Chonburi Provincial Narcotics Unit received intelligence on Khun Banyar aged 19 who was suspected of selling Marijuana to foreigners residing in the area. An undercover operation took place and the suspect was arrested and caught with 9 bags of the class 5 drug. He led Police to a hiding place where he kept an additional 60 bags and a selection of other items which were found to be counterfeit narcotics. Khun Banyar claimed he would sell the Marijuana for between 500 to 1,000 Baht a bag having purchased them from an agent for 100 Baht per bag.
