Scb Bank Robbery

Featured Replies

Passed the SCB Bank on Moon Muang Road at about 3.30 this afternoon. A very large crowd of onlookers and photographers gathered around. Police cars around and police and staff milling inside the bank. Looked a bit like a 3-ring circus performance but I guess it was a serious matter,

Wonder if anyone can post some info on this matter ?

Cheers.

TAN Network reported via Twitter that 500,000 THB was stolen. Don't see a write up on their website yet, however.

Ah, thanks for pointing that out! That article also mentions 700,000 THB was taken and that the time of robbery was 2.15pm

2.15pm seems like an unusually late lunch for a Thai person.......

Lunch is 1 to 2 pm but the guards use Thai time.
