I keep reading everywhere that you need to have the money (400,000) in the bank 2 months before application, but I assume that is for new applications only? What about renewals? Say, you already have the marriage visa extension and want to renew it for another year. I remember the immigration official last year saying it needs to be in the bank 3 months before application, not 2 months.

Officially i is 2 months for all extensions based on marriage, but some offices seem to require 3 months never the less.
