Fire engulfs motor vehicle on Highway 7 in Central Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A pick-up truck carrying shrubbery for sale at a market in Pattaya burst into flames on Highway 7, just before the junction with the Sukhumvit Road in central Pattaya. By the time firefighters arrived the pick-up was well and truly engulfed in flames and it took almost 20 minutes to subdue the fire. The pickup driver said he was heading into Pattaya with a number of small trees for sale when he noticed a smell of something burning leaking into the front cab. He pulled over to the side of the road and when he lifted the bonnet the fire took hold. He could only stand by and watch as his vehicle was turned into a smoldering wreck,
