Democrats Call on Pheu Thai MPs to Stop Creating Disunity

The Democrat Party is calling on Pheu Thai MP Jatuporn Phromphan to stop widening the social divide by going on a roadshow to preside over the opening of a new red-shirt district, admonishing him to pay attention to the flood problems instead.

The Democrat Party Spokesperson Chawanond Intarakomalsut criticized Pheu Thai Party list MP and key red-shirt leader Jatuporn Phromphan for not attending to red-shirt supporters who are suffering from floods in many provinces, to preside over the opening of the red-shirt district in Udon Thani Province instead.

He called on Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra to keep her party members in line and make sure that they refrain from causing disharmony.

Chawanond calls on the Pheu Thai Party to pay more serious attention to the flood situation.

Chawanond added that his party will give utmost cooperation in terms of relief efforts and will not discriminate.

Deputy Spokesperson for Democrat Party, Sakonthee Phattiyakul said his party disagreed with the call by the Pheu Thai Party and the red-shirt group to amend the Public Administration Act for the Defense Ministry, saying that it will streamline the appointment process in the military and prevent political interference.

He added that the Act was implemented by the Samak Sundaravej government without a problem.

Sakonthee encouraged the public to keep an eye on the Pheu Thai Party as he believes it is aiming to exert more control in government departments.

Jatuporn is such a scumbag. The flood is affecting everyone and he can't even bother to pretend to give a shit. And the Red idiots are still stupid enough to love this guy.

By the time Thaksin, Jatuporn, and Natthawut have finished creating their Red Shirt Federation, Thailand will wake up to the reality of there being a nationwide network of thugs and bullies for hire to ensure that Thaksin and his clan cannot be removed. Only civil war will be able to remove Thaksin when his corruption and cronyism becomes unbearable for the country again.

It's so nice to be able to say this sort of comment. The Bangkok Post Forum censors would have deleted it.

I'll stay on topic here (someone has to...) So, let me get this straight.... The dems call an election before the predicted La Nina weather front comes, the new government isn't even in office for one month before the first flooding starts whilst they are still getting the government in order. Flooding second round comes round and this Chawanond Intarakomalsut @ssholeis whingin' about disunity concerning certain MP's disregarding red flood victims??? Who the eff' is stirring the S_hitpot??? And S_hit stirring isn't causing disunity from these wimpering little dem sewer rats??? The epitome of hypocrisy at it's best!

Fair or not fair the current government gets blamed for disasters and praised for any improvements. Has nothing to do with them being in office for a single day, or a few years. Works the same in most countries ;)

The government is at least long enough in office to exchange top positions with Thaksins relatives. And they are long enough in office to know what "state of emergency" is so the army can work more efficient.

They just ignored all other problems beside bringing their criminal leader back.

I'm not sure I can agree with Democrat Party Spokesperson Chawanond Intarakomalsut about prompting MP Jatuporn to take care of flood victims.

I mean, imagine. Here you are, first lots of rain, a foot of water in the living room, a levee burst and you have two meters of water. And just when you think that life couldn't possibly get worse, there's comes k. Jatuporn in a small boat trying to comfort you offering a red-shirt :D

That takes the prize! Your red mates scream for early elections, refuse them when they are offered, then when they are called early, it's all a cunning plot to blame PTP for the floods.

If you stop looking down your nose, your multi-focals might show you a bit more of what's going on.

You're right. You don't know what's going on. It's there for you but you just refuse to see it. The whole country is practically up in arms trying to fight this flood situation and we have some Red Shirts being <deleted> instead of helping people they claim to want to help. And you're there defending them. Bravo!

Prize winner for sure.

I told a few people that one.

It's really, REALLY good for loosening up stiff necks,

shaking them in disbelief!
