I'm looking for a company that sells used 20' shipping containers that are still in decent shape. I've rented one for storage for 2 years @ Bht 4.000 per month and now want to buy, but they are asking Bht 80,000 for it. Seems really expensive as compared to a few years ago, but maybe I'm wrong. They must have many containers are are damaged beyond economic repair, and these normally find their way into the storage market. The price you were quoted seems reasonable to me, if it is delivered and dropped off --- doors close properly etc. The price has a payback of 20 months, and presumably the resale price is not much different.
