Extending Marriage Stay Another Yr

Not sure if this has been covered, sorry if so. My 1 yr extension stay based on marriage is about to expire and I cannot get to an immigration office with wife until about a week before it does due to work in another province. Is that enough time or is there a minimum review period needed before expiry of existing stay period? I have all the docs ready. My work expires as well, so I cannot ask the employer to help. UK pp.

That should be fine - early is good in case new requirements and you need to obtain documents but last week should be accepted without issue.
