Armed robbery at North Pattaya Laundry

PATTAYA: -- An armed robbery at a late-opening Laundry Shop in North Pattaya, took place in the early hours of Friday. Police were called to the Laundry Shop located in Soi Potisan 6 and were met by the shaken owner, Khun Boonying aged 37, who was preparing to close when a man came to ask directions to the Sukhumit Road. He was tall with very dark skin and his face was partially concealed by a helmet. He then produced a gun and demanded Khun Boonying hand over all her cash. A total of 2,000 Baht was handed over and the suspect drove off in the direction of the Sukhumvit Road.

I just can not think why any one would rob a laundry, better pickings elsewhere, unless they were laundering money...
