I live in Lumpini village in Bang Bua thong, historically it has never flooded but there is half a meter water in the streets and 3cm in my home now.

I extimate that the water will rise for at least 5 more days (id be happy if only 5 days) and that it will rise around 5 cm a day. Then maybe it will stabelise and after a few weeks recede. This is just guesswork on what i have seen. Combined with the news

We have house in Bang boa tong, I am afraid the whole area is waist high in water (1 metre) the western ring road 9 is closed, we went back yesterday in boat to salvage some items, the water is filthy with what seems to be an oil slick on the surface we found a small snake swimming in our living room angry.gif. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. I think I know your village you turn left at the petrol station and its about a mile on the right from the 9 road. Which is about 500 mts from our house, we have evacuated to a condo in Ladprao.

Today the water still rose, not much but it still rose. How i wish the water would go down just like the government was saying. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

I made a trip looking for food today. We went with army trucks to the Big C at the other side of Big King. It was the only shop that was open. There was still some food to be found. Mostly expensive food and food that is not normally eaten by Thais.

The trip took long and i saw cars floating, parts were dry but most were un passable for even 4 by 4's. I saw all the water flowing towards BKK. The road was a river. Many boats with long tails on the road. I had to walk the last part through water that was waist deep.

My advice wait a few weeks before you come back.

I think the water is stabilizing (i cant say for sure because it might rise tonite) But since last night only a cm or 2.

I am well informed because im living it, not much else to do then to live it and have my wife translate all the information comming through the village speakers.

Today is the second day in our village that the water did not rise. I am grateful for that this way damages will be bad but not catastrophic.

Water is not dropping, its around the same maybe a few cm more then b4. Its either staying the same for a day or rising 1cm.

Today it dropped a centimeter and later on rose a cm (i measured it so i know this happend).

I think it can take a while before anyone can start cleaning here but 18 november should be good. I mean i hope that it will be dry in one or two weeks. But this is just a guess. You can still live in your house if you have food and stuff. you will still have power.
