I absolutley love Indian curry in fact my fav is a Chicken Makharni nice and almondy!

So where can I find the best Indian curry house in CM.

It has been covered here as well. Just do a search on curry or Indian. Here is one recent thread where a couple of places were mentioned.

I tried many places 2 years back and never found one that really satisfied me (except cooked by me at home). Maybe the ones mentioned in the above thread are good but I had not found them or they did not yet exist when I was last there. Hopefully we will hear about other good Indian curry restaurants in this thread.

Chiang Mai is definitely not like BKK in this regard. At least in BKK you could find a few really good places for Indian curry (some reasonably priced and some elegant and expensive).

IMHO..........there isn't one, or wasn't the last time this topic was posted.

But if YOU DO find a decent one, PLEASE let us all know

Best Indian I have had in CM is actually off Thanon Chang Khlan, in the Night Bazaar area, same side as McDonald's but further towards Tha Phae Rd, as part of Galair (Kalae) food court. But I dont recall any curries, it was mostly other Indian food. Still worth a visit though.

I agree that the other Indian restaurants I have eaten at in CM are rather disappointing.

These guys in the food court are Nepalese. I find their food really very nice.
