Pattaya Police investigate allegations of abuse on woman by her mother

PATTAYA: -- Police specializing in assistance for abused women and children were called to a house in South Pattaya on Sunday to investigate allegations of abuse by a Mother on her 18 year old daughter. Police Lieutenant Colonel Omsin, from the Police Region 2 Child and Women Protection Unit received complaints from residents in the area that Khun Jamnien aged 54 would physically abuse her 18 year old daughter, who was suspected of suffering from mental health issues. Police attended the address and met with the distraught victim who appeared to have a wrist injury which she claimed was sustained after her mother allegedly tied her up in her bedroom. The victim also claimed her Mother would repeatedly hit her.
