October 25, 201114 yr There's lots of pics in the news of small 2/3 man boats floating around in the flooded areas. Where can I get one in BKK?
October 25, 201114 yr Next to the Homepro between Ladprao and Ram Intra there is a shop that has loads of plastic boats. I drove past there a couple of days ago and most of the cheapo boats were gone, but they still have a lot of the more expensive looking kayak type boats: http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=13.796511,100.612712&hl=en&sll=13.796146,100.612927&sspn=0.002803,0.003449&vpsrc=0&mra=mift&mrsp=1&sz=18&t=h&z=18

October 25, 201114 yr Thx great tips. Anyone else know somewhere nearer BTS/MRT lines? Taking a boat on the MRT is likely to cause panic You could take it on the BTS, bicycles are allowed, just tell them your bike is flooded "I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
October 25, 201114 yr I might be wrong, but I think that I might have seen them in some builders yards. Seems silly I know? jb1
