Here, here i'm completely confused now - Gary is nice, Gary is evil man with a 12 inch, Gary was attacked, Gary was the attacker- anyone have the facts?

Have the BIB made him re-inact the crime scene?

Judgement is not far away after that and the real Gary will have to stand up.

i have some facts and some opinions about this matter. I hope you find them helpful.

1) the person that was attacked (fact) Gary, is in my (opininon) a nice guy, a fine restaraunteur and good family man.

2) he did not have a 12" knife, nor did he have a switchblade (facts). He carried with him a penknife.

3) There was a pool tournament on at the time and there were some dozens of people that were witness to this event (fact). All told the same story to the police, that the guy who ended up dead was the aggressor and threatened Gary with a large knife. (fact)

4) Gary was released from jail some 3 weeks ago and continues to operate his deli business (fact).

5) The only reason (I was told) that he spent 2-3 weeks in jail is that some staff at the pool hall suggested that Gary should have known that the attacker merely meant to tap him on the face with the knife and they thought he overreacted to the threat. The police eventually saw it Gary's way and the way every single other witness described it.

6) It's a shame these things are never followed up in the papers with the eventual outcomes.

dont know the details of this affair but I do know this

a. thai normally attacks farang from behind by surprise in large numbers, unless armed, in which case,

b. thai does not attack farang from in front unless armed and assumes farang is unarmed

Therefore, whatever you say I assume the circumstances lend themself to b.: thai attacked farang with a weapon thinking farang was unarmed, but farang defended himself to the surprise of the thai
