naboo
I'm not too up on this, have Ubuntu installed on my laptop under dual boot and have fancied playing around with it but repeatedly have wireless network issues I seem unable to solve..... However, am quite interested in this and would like feedback from those who know more. From DistroWatch Download links Before an inexperienced fool like me goes about installing this, I'd like to hear from any of you more knowledgeable folk on the positives and negatives of this distro. dmsnsa
I like Mint Linux. I've run it for almost a year in several incarnations on my corporate laptop. I also run its derivative Dedian but in some ways it's not as user friendly, especially with wifi drivers. Some people like Fedora, or another Redhat base distro CenOs. Both work well, and have substantial user groups. Regardless what distro you try, try a live disk first. Maybe tell us what wifi device you are having an issue with and someone can help out. justsumhelp
at first glance I thought this was actually running on a Commodore 64!!!!! but then just looked at the website....... Whats your appeal to this distro, and lets continue on from there. Edited November 16, 2011 by justsumhelp
