Crossy
Please do not post in all capitals, it is difficult to read and is considered as shouting. What kind of visa will you have in order to enter Thailand? Without one you are likely to be prevented from boarding your flight. Moving to the Visas forum. Lite Beer
Providing you have a visa you will be OK.
lovelaos
Me and the Mrs had a problem at Heathrow recently because we didn't have an onward ticket when flying to Bangkok. We had to purchase a ticket from Bangkok to Mumbai with Jet which was later cancelled and reimbursed (-1200 Baht). The airline will not let you fly unless you have a visa to live or work in Thailand because they face a huge fine by Thai immigration. Even after explaining that we live and work in Laos and my car was in Bangkok airport, therefore I will be driving over the border the next day, they still refused. Mario2008
Even a tourist visa will be fine, just not a visa exempt entry (or a Visa on Arrival).
sulasno
I flew from HK to Bangkok and the airline wants to see an onward ticket from Bangkok to anywhere; I am simply produce an ATM card and was allow to board
Jimbo
I fly frequently between Singapore and Thailand and generally only have one way tickets when I return to Thailand. Don't have a visa and no one ever makes a fuss out of it.
HalfSquat
I don't think I've ever entered Thailand with an onward ticked booked in all my 2+ years of being here. Have flown in from London, HK, Sing, Aus, Bali, KL, Cambo, Vietnam... Is this a new requirement?

Hooters
Ring the Airline they are the ones who make a song and dance out of it. I have never been asked at BKK arrivals if I have an onward ticket in over 5 years.
terryq
As already answered, if you have a valid visa NO onward ticket required.
