dantilley Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 I was reading through one of my old Lonely Planet books today and it mentions in there that cans of insects would be going on sale and "look set to take the market by storm". Well, looks lilke that prediction wasn't quite accurate, but does anyone know if these can be purchased anywhere? They'd make a great souvenir to take home I think!
Thetyim Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Yes I have seen them advertised online in two places. About 70 baht per small can I think

blue eyes Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 I have purchased canned crickets and believe me they do not taste good.I do enjoy the fresh ones that we catch and fry from the paddys.
glenbat Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 Sorry to hijack but do they send to the UK? I've looked and it looks like they do, but am a little unsure of rules about having scorpions sent to me in England.. any ideas?
