Fugitive arrested after he shoots at Police to avoid capture in North Pattaya

PATTAYA: -- A man and his girlfriend were arrested on Tuesday evening after the man attempted to shoot his way out of a situation whereby a Police Patrol wanted to check the pair who were acting suspiciously. The incident occurred in the Lompok area, north of Pattaya and resulted in the arrest of Khun Anon aged 33 and his girlfriend, Khun Wipaporn aged 22. Khun Anon sustained a head injury after he was forced off his motorbike by pursuing officers who returned fire after he shot at the officers. A loaded 38 caliber firearm and 33 Yabba Tablets were seized and later, Khun Anon confirmed he was on his way to deliver drugs to customers. Further Police checks revealed he had recently been released from Prison and was also wanted by Banglamung Police in relation to an armed robbery
