More than 100,000 people in Bangkok have participated in the Public Health Ministry's 4th round of its nationwide mass-exercise rally, in honor of His Majesty the King.

People in Bangkok yesterday gathered at Sanam Luang (สนามหลวง) to join the nation-wide effort to promote health. A charity walk was arranged to find money for poor patients and disaster-struck people.

In Chiang Mai people gathered at a school to join in on the occassion, where many activities took place in addition to the centerfold aerobic dances.

The event falls on November 20th of every year, where Thais all over the country conduct exercise on the date. This year's slogan is aimed at reducing smoking and consumption of alcoholic beverages.

In Phuket, almost 200 runners sprinted off Songkhla (สงขลา) University's campus ground in a charity mini-marathon held to give assistance to underadvantaged children.
