From my window I can see and hear two helicopters which have been buzzing back and forth for hours around the palace (the king is my neighbour, dontcha know!)....

Landing at the grounds, then taking off, circling over the mountain and nearly disappearing from view, before circling back around and landing again. This has been going on for a couple of hours now and doesn't half make a noise. I wonder what they are doing?!

Nothing special, they probably rehears the landing approach with new pilots of the squadron who flies the Royal Family.

pilots have to get their flying hours in ,to keep their training and licience upto date ,it happens quite a lot
