Picking Up Package At Post Office

I have a package coming from Bangkok that I need to pick up asap, I have a tracking number and I wonder if it's possible to go down to post office and pick it up when it arrives using my tracking number?

Not coming to an address outside the PO, or to a POBox? Then the tracking number will help them find it in the clutter as a check on their computer at the receiving PO will show that it's arrived.

Why do you think you need to pick it up yourself?

If it's Posted within Thailand then it should be delivered directly to your Address by the Postman - the Tracking Number is only given to you in case the package goes astray and will help you trace it.

Packages posted from another Country to Thailand may be subject to Import Duty in which case you will have to go to the Post Office to pay the Duty and collect the package - but there is no Duty payable on anything sent within Thailand.
