November 28, 201114 yr Am aware of Bang Kra Jao, but wouldn't mind to drive to Kanchanaburi - or anything east of Bangkok? Any suggestions for a family jungle weekend walk? Edited November 28, 201114 yr by cyberholz
November 28, 201114 yr Kanchanaburi is one of my favorite destinations in Thailand. If you are looking for a jungle walk, why not try the hellfire pass museum day trip? Visit the museum and then walk down into Hellfire pass, walk to the end of the cutting and then just keep going. Combine a jungle walk with a museum visit and teach the family a little bit of history. Make sure you take plenty of water as the going is quite rough in some places and you will need to keep well hydrated. Edited November 28, 201114 yr by midasthailand

We're looking for something more off the beaten track. Sure is a event the museum, a must for everyone!
