lost_in_isaan
The Bangkok Moto Expo 2011 is on from 1 December until 11-12 December I think. Who's going? Anyone aware of any flood problems related to this? Can you taxi there from the CBD?
culicine
No problems from the CBD, just get off at Muangthong or Chaengwatta from the expressway. This particular area was never flooded (From Pak Kret to Klong Prapa). Of course I'll be going, probably tomorrow, as I'm only 10 mins from there:)

Never been out there...is it difficult to get a taxi to go there on the meter from the CBD area?

steveromagnino
guess it's about 150b+; it's quite a decent distance. I was thinking of heading out now but will probably push it back to Sunday as it's getting a bit late tonight...good thing about taxiing is the s&*t parking out there; taxi cuts all that malarky out right there.... culicine
Well I live in Pak Kret, so I'm not much use re: getting there from BKK. Suffice to say if you can get to Chaengwattana Immigration, you can also easily get to Impact. It's not too far from there. I should get there tomorrow night, providing I'm not too wrecked from cleaning my house though. My son wants to go - he's never missed a year from birth, so I guess I should make the effort hehe
