saintofsilence
Take half the beach chairs off the beach. Remove every jet ski gang , take all the drug dealers away replace every beach chair vendor with a new one who has done hospitality training it may help a bit. Pattaya does have potential but the management need further education on what makes a good tourist city.
janverbeem
Put some people in charge of cityhall who care about the well being of the city instead of how to line their own pockets. Sorry that was only wishfull thinking, maybe it's because Christmas coming soon. Edited December 4, 2011 by janverbeem

Spalpeen
If a tourist could hail a meter taxi and not get ripped off...that would be good. . Over to you Mr. Mayor It is a scandal that in a city that's growing fast, where thousands of high end condos and houses are being built every year, the only forms of public transport are converted pickup trucks or the back seat of a motorbike. If Pattaya wants to be taken seriously it needs a network of public bus routes and, yes, proper metered taxis. The present system looks like something you'd find in Bangladesh.
