TravelerEastWest
Chaing Mai Zoo Luggage drop off possible? I will take a plane to Chiang Mai on a Sunday and go directly to the Zoo with 2 small kids - before we check in to our hotel. 1) Do they have a place to leave a couple of back packs while we visit the Zoo at the entrance? 2) What is the easiest way to go from the airport to the zoo? iainiain101
Chiang Mai is pretty small, so it is probably worth just dropping your luggage at your hotel. Dont miss the night safari, it is definately better for kids with more animals, less distance to walk and lots on. It is getting very busy at night, so better to try the afternoon times. Give the zoo a pass. The best time for the Night Safari is around 17:00 when the wild deer come out to eat. Bring some carrots and the kids can hand feed them. The sun conures located by the enterence are also great fun. You can go inside and feed them and they will flock to you and sit on your shoulders and you can hand feed them. They are very gentle birds.

Perhaps we will also go see the night safari - sounds like fun.
