I have searched the forums but cannot find any recent info on this issue. Please help.Hardware/OS : Win 7 (Legal version) 64 bit, New notebook No issues with ram/disk or anything.Browser : ChromeWIFI : 3BBI view Utube a lot! Never had an issue either with my old nor this new notebook.Suddenly have a problem. When I click on a video, it opens it and starts streaming. In about 3 seconds it freezes...the whole notebook. I have to restart the machine. Then it will work for a couple of vids and freeze again.Very frustrating.Looking at solutions found the following instructions from Microsoft sites:Step 1. Uninstall Flash - Appears to work fine and it says Uninstalled. But....Step 2. Wait for appropriate messages after uninstall. Then when I do "about:plugins" it continues to tell me that I have Flash installed. So the Uninstall does not really work.Step 3. Reinstall Flash. When trying to do this, the Adobe message is that my browser comes with Flash so download/install is not required! So cannot reinstall by myself. Please heeeeelp. Thanks.

Chrome includes a special version of Flash which cannot be removed without uninstalling the browser itself. You can however disable it -- Go to about:plugins and disable the bundled Flash plugin.

Download and install the latest Flash Player from here.
