GentlemanJim
I am ready with three different sized balls and a torch to try and help the little girl understand whats happening. If using the torch as the Sun, you would need just 2 balls - 1 each to represent the Earth and the Moon, no? Yes, but before using the torch as the Sun you have to show the kid what the Sun is doing with the third ball first, then replace the ball with the torch. The little girl understood perfectly thanks. It was a perfect display last night. I am very jealous of the photos being taken. I see myself on a big spend soon
MrMuddle
I'd like to thank Tommet for his initial post, i wouldn't have known about the lunar eclipse otherwise. Our family all sat out and watched the event, thankfully the sky was clear and we had a great view. Thanks also to the posters for the great photos, again much appreciated.
