we have a car in my wifes name, we are both back in uk, a guy in thailand is very interested to guy the car but we need to send blue book tax and insurance papers to los, i think we can do this via registered post though im not sure even how to spell her sisters address on the envelope, anyway saying the documents go to los to my wifes sisters, this farang guy wants the car, how can the name be changed into his name if my wife is here in uk, i imagine its not going to be easy, he is also going to put deposit into our bank account as soon as his friend goes to isaan to check car out and if he likes it and everything adds up. He himself is not due to be in thailand untill january hence having his friend go see it. How can this all be done? if possible?

assuming your wife is Thai national and has Thai ID card, its simple

one envelope containing

copy of her ID card signed with blue pen

signed and witnessed transfer form

signed and transfered proxy

the 2 last forms you can recieve as emails from here

one envelope containing

reg book

both send from you post office as EMS one day apart. Recievers name and adress should be both in english and Thai

Yes, just have the Thailand part in English the rest can be in Thai. Done that myself in the past.

Yeah !! It will be OK Kbb is great at info sounds to me you need some forms from Thailand sent to you and wifey can fill them in to do the biz and Bob's your uncle.
