90 Day Reporting

HI,

I have a quick question that i cannot find out by search, if i renew my visa half way through 90 days then does the 90 days start from renewal of the visa date or still from the end of the previous 90 days?

SO example if I did a 90 reporting in September and they give me a slip telling me to come back in December but in October I renew the visa, do i still have to go back in December to report or does 90 days start from renewal in October?

It's dependent on whether you leave the country to renew the visa or extend your current visa in-country. The 90 day report is for people who spend 90 consecutive days in Thailand. If you leave Thailand prior to the 90 days then there's no need to report because you haven't been here for 90 consecutive days. If you extend at your local immi office then you haven't left Thailand and there's a need to report because you'll have stayed over 90 days. In this case you'd still report on the day they asked you to report.
