A lot of the old timers knew Tom Autry. He was quite a character and lived in Chiang Mai for many years.

I did not know him that well, but was surprised when he returned to the US a few years ago. Apparently he had cancer and did not tell anyone as one of his best buddies here did not even know, but just found out that he passed awy last week and told me.

RIP Tom.

Death of someone you know is always like a kick in the gut.

Tom was like a will-o-the-wisp in and around CM . You never knew when he would show up, or how frequent.

Well all struggles are over now Tom, RIP.

Could not agree more. Last week I found out by chance that a German guy I have know for over 12 years passed away a couple of months ago. I was really shocked when a mutual friend told me.

RIP to you Tom, I did not know you. My respects.
