I'm planning a bicycle ride to Satun over Christmas break. What is the hotel/guesthouse situation on highways 4 and 41 south of Hua Hin? Are there many hotels scattered about, or does one have to ride into town do find a bed? I'm wondering specifically between Hua Hin and Prachap Khiri Khan; around and a bit south of Chumphon; around and a bit south of Surat Thani, and around and/or a bit south of Phattalung.
