johnnort Posted December 23, 2011 Share Posted December 23, 2011 Hello, A friend of mine has a computer related problem. Any ideas please as to why his Toshiba (?) laptop turns itself on at will. Members must surely write any rubbish just to build up their 'post' score. How pathetic! A long time ago, I, together with many others, reduced our participation in the forums on the back of these ridiculous people. barryw52 Posted December 24, 2011 Share Posted December 24, 2011 IN BIOS the turn off Wake on LAN and also Start up by USB Click mouse, key board etc. I had this problem and it also took a while until I turned off all possible auto wake up settings in he BIOS.
