Hi the Ais iphone internet, talk, text package at 899b is probably the best deal on Ais. Is any one using this on Android? If so how? I got told Iphone only.

Thanks Allan

Asked yesterday as well - was told iPhone only. Doesn't make a lot of sense since I was also told you can bring your own iPhone (so no additional profit grab by AIS). Since it is service only, it would be nice to allow it on more smartphones.

The Max Plus iPhone Package (899 baht/month, 24 months: 500 min, 300 SMS, 50 MMS, 3 GB of fair-use 3G, unlimited WiFi) appears to be available only for iPhones. Presumably they will verify the IMEI before allowing you to enter in to a 2 year contract? I guess you could 'borrow' an iPhone to enroll, not sure how interested they are in denying service if you change IMEIs? If you buy the iPhone 4S from AIS they give you additional allotments.

This plan represent a significant discount over a comparable Smart Mix& Match plan, not that you can construct one exactly to compare.

I might pop in and give it a go. Where does it say 2 year contract?

I think thats just if you buy the phone from them and want the extra discounts.

The iPhone packages are indeed locked based on IMEI or something similar and won't work on other phones.

ummm ok. Still going to go in and see if i can get to. It's the closest thing to Dtac's Ifinity deal that i'm on now. So doing a number port they MAY do it. Will keep you all informed.
