December 9, 200520 yr Well you'll have your work cut out for you, yes, the violin is one of the most difficult instruments to learn and master. Being a fretless instrument, you have to have an excellent sense of pitch. It will be excruciating to your neighbors while your practicing, like a cat being tortured. The acoustic guitar is the easiest to learn and probably the most fun. Having said that, a sense of pitch and meter will still be required. Your either born with it or your not, you'll soon find out.
